    We have heard from long-time residents that Kern’s Bakery brings warm (and good-smelling) memories to mind. One of those memories is the traveling carousel that brought kids joy. The iconic carousel has gone missing. Kern’s Bakery is offering a $500 reward to the person who helps us recover the belove carousel.

    A new development team – Mallory & Evans Partners, LLC – has acquired the Kern’s Bakery site in south Knoxville and will reinvigorate the area as a mixed-use redevelopment.
